Daily photo from Greenland
This was our first glacier. It wasn’t the one that nearly spelled our demise, but a more gentle kind, enjoyed at a distance. And, yes, we employed the same Arctic Fox* to take the photo, and tried not to think about his rates!

On our summer holidays we might meet a single fisherman, or see a boat from a distance. But otherwise, it was just Jane and me, the whales, foxes, and ravens.
And a bit of fantasy for the weekend!
I love fantasy, and if I was better at selling it I would write more. :-) I’m still finding my feet with the genre, and paid subscribers can have a taste (or choose not to) with a short story about Derycke Burglehart told over six parts.
Have fun. :-)
And we’re getting there!
Gumball Magic just got a boost and we’re now at 71%! I’d like to give a shout out and a huge thank you to all the backers so far. There are extra rewards if the project funds, and even more if we reach the stretch goals. Curious? Check out the campaign here.
There are, at the time of writing this post, 3 out of 7 rewards available for backers who want to be written into the novel. ;-)
Chris, I updated my G.M. pledge because seriously, I need you finish this story. Also, if Luui could hold my viola while I get harpoon, that would be lovely. But not required.
That Arctic Fox is sure talented! 😁 Did you hire him for the length of your trip to document your adventures? He's doing a great job! Does he have a thriving business/studio in Uummannaq, or is he a roving shutterbug without a permanent burrow? 😊 Hope Jane's homecoming is going well and happily (despite further game night losses on your part)😬. ••👍🏻Keep that GUMBALL rolling! 👍🏻
