Daily photo from Greenland
I mean, they’re just cruising for trouble. Right?
The month of May is, as I have mentioned before, not the time to visit the sledge dog areas of Greenland as everything, as in everything, is melting.
I’ll leave that to your imagination, as I have each month on May that I have posted something about the great melt.
While April is the month to visit, and the earlier the better, May is a time of transition. At least, it is south of Qaanaaq. The sledge dog pups above are in Uummannaq. May in Qaanaaq, waaaaay north, is still very much winter, and nothing much will change before June or July. Depending on the temperatures, of course.
