I love what you wrote. Petra is one who does the heavy lifting for me.

The black line of strata in the mountain behind- did you ever find out it's geology?

Ooh, I like that, Erik. Petra helps me out too. Thanks for your kind words. :-)

And the strata... Nope, I am no wiser. I would love to say it is a darker granite, but not being a geologist, I would err on the side of caution and cheekily avoid the question. ;-)

A lot of the black colour on the rocks on lower slopes was often lichen, especially when seen from a distance. But in the case of the black line above, I don't think that's the case.

A bit mysterious . . but I'm glad fate stepped in and all is well! 😊

Yes, a little mysterious, but it involved arriving at a car accident and helping a young Ukrainian man get the help he needed. He was more shocked than injured and I was fortunate to have the help of a Danish woman who made all the necessary calls while I talked to the driver. It sounds more dramatic than it was, but it *looked* quite dramatic when I arrived. Anyway, mystery solved. :-)

It was a small act, but it felt good, I must admit. :-)
